Pack for a Purpose in Tallinn Estonia
About our Pack for a Purpose Project in Tallinn Estonia
We are proud members of Pack for a Purpose, an initiative that allows travelers like you to make a lasting impact in the community at your travel destination. If you save just a few kilos of space in your suitcase and bring supplies for area schools or medical clinics in need, you’ll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families.
Discover Estonia supports Pack for a Purpose with a special project for Kohtla Nomme Lastekodu Orphanage in Tallinn, Estonia. The orphanage supports children without parents and your help is desperately needed. Today the orphanage has 30 children from age 9 to 21 that need your help. Even a small space in your suitcase can make a world of difference in the lives of these children.
You can give any items you bring to your tour guide.
How You Can Help
Take any of the following items with you on your travels and present them to your guide or driver at the beginning of your tour:
- Working Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, or Mobile Phones for the children
- On Saturdays children do drawing and need nice frames for their works. A2 format.
- The Estonian Health Ministry requires the orphanage to have heavy blinds on the windows.
- Shampoo and creams for teenagers are always needed
- Rakes for working outside
- Paint for some living rooms and wallpaper, all in light, neutral colors.
